Smart Resources is a boutique staffing firm specializing in administrative support staffing. We are currently conducting a search for a Facilities Coordinator to assist a privately owned food company in Lisle, IL.

Job Title: Facilities Coordinator    
Location: Lisle, IL
Job Type:  Temporary to Hire
Temp Pay Rate:  Based on Experience
Hours: Full Time, Monday- Friday  
Process: Candidates will be required to pass a background check and drug test

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assists with the general facilities maintenance, the day-to day operations of the building, and various department duties  

  • Maintains office supply inventory and corresponding with vendors to order office supplies and services when needed

  • Monitors supplies and restocks when needed

  • Assists with daily mail and package distribution 

  • Responsible for the setup of new hire workplace including office equipment and supplies

  • Assists with all conference room and event setups in building

  • Manages break room, storage rooms, and production room upkeep

  • Maintains and updates facility management software

  • Addresses general inquiries from employees regarding facilities, copy machines, phone setup, office supplies, office equipment and safety procedures

  • Acts as contact for offsite record storage and assists employees with file/document retrieval   

  • Completes special projects as assigned by the Manager

  • Carries out back-up coverage as necessary for Manager, mail room, front desk and mail/ package delivery

  • Shares responsibility of 24/7 on call status for building issues when needed




  • High School Diploma and minimum 3 years of experience in related field

  • Reliable self-starter, willing to take on new responsibilities, learns quickly

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

  • Ability to work on feet for extended periods of time

  • Detail- orientated, multi-tasker

  • Go- getter, enthusiastic, high energy personality

  • Ability to continuously develop and adapt

  • Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint

  • Tech savvy

  • Ability to problem solve, anticipate needs, and work efficiently in a fast paced environment

  • Ability to complete assigned duties in a timely manner as requested by Supervisor/Manager

  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing

  • Team player
