Smart Resources is a division of BG Staffing that specializing in administrative support staffing. We are currently conducting a search for a Warehouse Customer Service  to assist an established logistics solutions company located in Bensenville, IL.

Job Title: Warehouse Customer Service 
Location: Bensenville, IL
Job Type:  Long Term Temporary
Temp Pay Rate: $14.00-$17.00/hr (Based on experience)
Hours: Full Time, Monday- Friday  
Process: Candidates will be required to pass a background check and drug test

Summary: The Warehouse Customer Service  position is responsible for servicing and maintaining the various accounts in the warehouse accounts department. This role will require customer support, inventory control, execution of shipping documents, and heavy email correspondence to ensure smooth operation.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Supporting accounts within the Warehouse Accounts Department by completing tasks in an accurate and timely manner

  • Responsible for setting up customer files; by taking shipping orders from customer and verifying the order details

  • Responsible for creating/editing orders in database and ensuring data is transmitted correctly

  • Communicating with various internal and external sources in a professional and efficient manner

  • Handling receiving issues and resolves discrepancies

  • Responding to customer calls and e-mails in a timely/professional manner

  • Handling inquiries and expediting orders from customers

  • Running weekly status reports and entering data into database  

  • Completing additional tasks as assigned my Supervisor


  • High School Diploma and minimum 1 year of experience in related field

  • Reliable self-starter, willing to take on new responsibilities, learns quickly

  • Ability to work in a noisy, fast paced environment

  • Detail- orientated

  • Excellent reasoning skills and an analytic mindset

  • Go- getter, enthusiastic, high energy personality

  • Ability to continuously develop and adapt

  • Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint

  • Ability to problem solve, anticipate needs, multi-task, and work efficiently in a fast paced environment

  • Ability to complete assigned duties in a timely manner as requested by Supervisor/Manager

  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing

  • Ability to work efficiently independently with little supervision
